Servanes Team Trophy 2025: sport, conviviality and solidarity at Servanes Golf Club

On Sunday 14 September 2025, the Servanes Golf Club in Mouriès hosted the latest edition of the Servanes Team Trophy, a flagship event celebrating sport, camaraderie and solidarity.

Organised by the Servanes Golf Club Sports Association, chaired by Nicolas Valroff and supported by the entire board, this event brought together many players and members, all mobilised to support the Servanes Golf Club team.

Early in the morning, participants were welcomed with a gourmet breakfast before teeing off at 9:00 a.m. for an 18-hole scramble in pairs.

Under sunny skies, players enjoyed the unique setting of the Servanes Golf Course at the foot of the Alpilles, combining natural beauty with a technically challenging course.

Throughout the competition, Servanes’ team set up a generous buffet directly on the course, offering savoury and sweet treats to delight the participants.

These gourmet breaks allowed the players to relax and share wonderful moments of conviviality, immortalised in numerous photos taken between greens.

The day also featured an unusual and unforgettable moment: a golf cart accidentally ended up in one of the course’s ponds. Without hesitation, Pascal Lafleur jumped into the water, in his shorts, to retrieve the clubs. Amidst laughter and general admiration, this feat will remain etched in everyone’s memory and perfectly illustrates the team spirit and good humour that prevailed that day.

The awards ceremony was a highlight of the day, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs:

an electric trolley,

a stay at the Château de la Bégude, including green fees at the Grande Bastide and Opio Valbonne golf courses,

as well as numerous prizes distributed during the raffle for the benefit of the team and the prize draw.

The ceremony was marked by the camaraderie and pride of the participants.

The day ended with an elegant cocktail reception, accompanied by delicate petits fours, including the famous meringues from Les Ateliers Chez Franck & Flo restaurant in Maussane-les-Alpilles.

Beyond competition and camaraderie, the Servanes 2025 Team Trophy had a charitable goal: all entry fees were donated to the Servanes Golf Club team.

The Sports Association, the Servanes Team, and all the volunteers deserve huge praise for their commitment, as do the players who took part and the members who contributed even though they were unable to participate on the day.

The Servanes 2025 Team Trophy, held at the Servanes Golf Club in Mouriès, will be remembered as an exceptional day, marked by sport, sharing and generosity.
