A day of golf in the service of solidarity

On Sunday 6 April, Golf de Servanes was alive with the rhythm of the Swing for More competition, a unique golfing event organised by Manon Donche-Gay, a professional golfer preparing for the Ladies European Tour 2025.

In the natural setting of the Servanes golf course, between ancient olive trees and white cliffs, more than 90 players met under a brilliant blue sky and a light breeze, for a day of sharing, playing and solidarity.

A friendly tournament to share and perform

More than just a tournament, Swing for More embodies the strong link between a passion for golf and support for an ambitious sportswoman.
After a remarkable career at Kansas State University, Manon is back in France with her sights set on shining on the LET, and this competition has provided the opportunity to support her in this adventure.

Players – beginners, experts, friends and enthusiasts – turned out in force to take part in this 18-hole Stableford competition, in a friendly and generous atmosphere.

The prize-giving ceremony took place on hole 1, in a warm atmosphere, where everyone was able to celebrate the players’ performances, while enjoying a closing cocktail.
Several categories were rewarded (Women’s & Men’s – Gross & Net), and the tombola offered some very nice prizes, thanks to committed partners.

A word from Manon Donche-Gay: ‘Your support means a lot’.

I’d like to extend my warmest thanks to all the participants in my Swing for More competition, as well as to all the people who, even though they couldn’t be there, contributed via the tombola or by giving me a helping hand to finance my professional season.

For me, this day was a real moment of sharing, sport and solidarity. Your support means a lot to me and gives me precious energy to advance towards my goals on the Ladies European Tour.

I’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped me organise this day:

Jean, for allowing me to organise this tournament at Servanes.

Nicolas, President of the Sports Association, for his unfailing support.

Josiane Osaer, for her presence and perfect management of the tombola.

The reception team, for their professionalism.

Samantha, for her communications, content and network support.

And of course, the team of gardeners, for their remarkable work on the course.

I’d also like to thank our partners, without whom the tombola would not have been such a success:

  • Mas de la Dame
  • Castelas Mill
  • Stimpe Artbeatid
  • Moulin du Calanquet
  • Restaurant La Bergerie
  • Vincent Golf
  • Chez Loïc Fromager

I’ll keep you up to date with my results throughout the season on my networks (@manon_albatros).

Thanks again to everyone for an unforgettable day. See you soon on the greens!
